Long before Jassi De Parathe became a name people trusted, it was a belief lived every single day inside a home kitchen. That belief belonged to Jasvinder Kaur a woman who cooked Punjabi food the way it was meant to be cooked: with patience, intuition, and deep respect for tradition. For her, food was not a business idea; it was a responsibility. Every paratha carried discipline, every dish carried warmth, and nothing left the kitchen without honesty. Her son, Jasvir Singh, grew up watching this rhythm. He saw how food could comfort, how flavours could create loyalty, and how consistency could build trust without saying a word. While his mother guarded tradition, he carried the vision to take this way of cooking beyond the home and place it into the cityโ€™s hands. In 2003, that vision took shape on a modest hand-cart near Mansi, Ahmedabad. There were no shortcuts only long hours, physical effort, and the courage to let taste speak for itself. Customers came, returned, and brought others with them. Slowly, quietly, something lasting began to grow.


What followed was never rushed. Recipes were protected. Processes were disciplined. Values were non-negotiable. The hand-cart became kitchens, and kitchens became Jassi De Parathe a name built on trust, not trends. In 2026, the journey evolves with JASSI & Co. Not as a departure, but as an expression of everything learned since 2003. A new domain where Indian flavours are explored with confidence, presented with a modern sensibility, and guided by the same soul that started it all.
